Yam started her career as a performer at the age of sixteen when she joined her high school theatre group, followed by many theatre courses, workshops and then committed to full time theatre training in Israel.
By the end of her first year as a theatre student she was urged to join a circus group by one of her coaches, and that was her first step in to the circus industry.
After a number of years of circus performing in Israel Yam decided to continue her training and research in the UK, where she successfully continued her career, mainly as an aerialist).
Yam’s biggest dream to establish her own circus centre came true in January 2012 when she created Gravity aerial academy; a space for professional and amateur circus goers to train and learn their craft in a new space in London. This then later became as it is know now – Gravity Circus School and Training.
Yam continues her work here in London as full time teacher and aerial performer as well as the main manager of the ever expanding Gravity Circus School and Training.
